Lots of pop pop popping & locking in this run 😀
Daora can be completely stun-locked with every end-game gun & most people find this kind of fight very boring. But due to the nature of rapidfire (hard to land all 3 shots in a volley) & jankiness of Lightbreak Gun (easy to mis-time, mis-position, & shoot wrong ammo if you’re juggling), it makes this fight pretty exciting.

Basic Script (No Para or Landmines)

Open with classic opener as seen in the video.
Shoot two Sticky 3s to K.O him.
PHASE 1
-Initial topple (K.O)
– Shoot 3 Volleys, wait till he gets up
– Shoot 4th Volley. 1st Topple
– Shoot 4 Volleys, wait till he gets up
– Shoot 5th Volley. 2nd Topple
– Shoot 4 Volleys, wait till he gets up
– Shoot 5th Volley. 3rd Topple
– Shoot 4 Volleys, wait till he gets up
– Shoot 5th Volley, 4th Topple
– Shoot 3 Volleys. BEFORE he gets up, Clutch Claw onto his face & wait.
– As soon as he gets up Slap x 3 to re-proc Agitator & Tenderize.
– Enraged ROAR marks the end of Phase 1
– PHASE 2
– Shoot a Volley, Initial Topple
– Shoot 3 Volleys, wait till he gets up
– Shoot 4th Volley. 1st Topple
– Shoot 4 Volleys, wait till he gets up

– At this point, it takes about 4 to 6 Volleys to finish Daora depending on his health pool. Keep shooting till you win!
ADDITIONAL NOTES

– Daora’s head topple threshold is 1680.
– Having chonky damage with max buff will make your shots go past topple threshold easily & thus giving you inconsistent shot-count. So, don’t eat for Felyne Temper or Felyne Booster if they’re available.
– Classic Opener is not recommended because 90% of the time, Daora will see you if you jump out of camp right after chugging all potions. So, you have to waste precious few seconds waiting till his cone of vision has passed your landing point. I only did classic open because it’s the ol’ reliable opener that gives me consistent chance to start counting Topple threshold.
– It is imperative to let Daora do at least 1 attack during Phase 1 because if you don’t, when he gets up after 4th Topple, Daora will still be enraged & you won’t be able to slap him 3 times at the right time.
– If you use Landmines like I did in this video, due to the carry-over damage, 2nd or 3rd Topples of Phase 2 will require 1 less Volley. Meaning, if you shoot 4 Volleys like usual while Daora is down, it will go past the Topple threshold. So, you need to shoot one of those Volleys from out of Critical Range to get consistent 5-Volley-Topple.
